GROW

Journey Foundations – This core experience will refresh your relationship with God and launch you on your faith journey with Jesus Christ at Crossroads.   Journey Foundations is a prerequisite for Family Baptism, Adult Baptism, and Partnership or may be taken as a stand-alone class for personal spiritual growth.   For more information about the class contact Cathy Norman

Family Baptism – This learning experience celebrates the gift of your child as God’s Beloved and equips your family with the biblical foundations to make your home a faith-forming center. For more info contact Judy Wiles.  Journey Foundations is a prerequisite for this class.

Partnership at Crossroads -- Many have found that a greater understanding and commitment to Christ’s church as embodied at 43454 Crossroads Drive is a rewarding step to take. It’s called Partnership and it’s our form of membership. Here’s your chance to “officially” make Crossroads your home. For more info contact Cathy Norman.  Journey Foundations is a prerequisite for this class.

Circles of CARE -- Call, Accountability, Reflection and Engagement form the structure for our primary and on going way of being church as small groups on the journey inward, together and outward. Circles meet in homes and study the weekly Bible message, pray together and create lasting friendships with other Christians so that Christ may be more fully formed in our daily lives, families, community and world. For more info contact Jean Boren

Online Giving -- Is a wonderful way to prioritize your giving as a regular act of worship and devotion to Jesus.  If you're going on vacation this summer this is a great way to still maintain your givings and help support our missions.  You can safely give online by clicking the link in the navigation bar to the right that says Online Giving/Payments.

GO

Grace Ministries -- Share your time, clothing and food with our friends and neighbors in Christ. No household goods, please. Friday and Saturday, August 15th and 16th. We are always looking for good condition seasonal clothing, especially in men’s sizes XL and XXL. Join us by signing up online or contact Grace Ministries for more information.

Franklin Square Food & Fellowship with DC’s Homeless -- Meet others at 10:30am on every 1st and 3rd Sundays to serve lunch and be in fellowship with our homeless brothers and sisters. Our next weekend to participate is August 3rd.  For more information contact DC Missions

Fall ESL Classes -- Serve on a team to help people from around the globe learn conversational English.  It's part of Crossroads' mission to this international part of the nation.  Various positions are available: teachers, class assistants, hospitality, set up or break down crews or administration (the most needed servants right now are Publicity Servants).  No experience is necessary to participate.  To find out more information you can visit us online or you can email ESL@ecrossroadsumc.org

Jamaica Missions -- Just because we've returned from a successful mission trip to Jamaica doesn't mean we're finished.  If you missed out on your opportunity to make the trip but still want to get involved and help plan future missions in Jamaica contact Al Buskirk and he'll provide more information.

Change for Change -- If you've walked past our Welcome Center entering worship on Sunday mornings you might have seen a bucket sitting on a small wooden table.  That's our Change for Change bucket and we use it to collect loose change to support all of Crossroads missions in DC and Loudon County.  The next time you go by we invite you to take home a plastic bag and over the course of the week drop any loose change you might have in it.  Simply return it the following week and drop it in the bucket.  You really would be amazed at how much even a few coins can do.

Summer Greeters and Hospitality Servants -- If you are available and would be interested in either being a Greeter on Sunday mornings this summer or helping with our Sunday morning Hospitality contact Jean Boren
