Our theme this year is "Adventures in Mothering", and boy is it ever an adventure! Come experience the thrills, sights, and sounds of the roller coaster ride which comes with mothering infants and preschoolers.
The adventure starts September 19!!
WHAT IS MOPS?
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is an international organization for all moms of infants to kindergarteners, providing an opportunity to meet other moms and make the journey of motherhood together. MOPS seeks to meet nine specific needs of moms. These needs are for significance, identity, growth, intimacy, instruction, help, recreation, perspective and hope.
In other words, it's a playdate for moms! We get together to share experiences and to find out we are not alone. We get a chance to get out with other moms who are going through the same things we are. We learn from each other, celebrate motherhood, support each other, and laugh--a lot!

MEETINGS
At each of our meetings, moms enjoy a chance to socialize with other moms. We have a short time for announcements, followed by a speaker (on a topic moms would be interested in) plus a small group discussion that allows you to get to know other moms more closely. Most months, we also have a creative activity to do together.
We meet at Crossroads on the first and third Friday of each month from 9:15 to 11:15 AM.

MOPPETS
MOPS is for Moms, while MOPPETS is for kids. Children enjoy a safe, clean and stimulating environment while moms enjoy the company of other mothers. MOPPET caregivers are fully screened and they also have a heart for kids.
The MOPPETS program is for children five and under. Each is placed in an age-appropriate class where they receive Biblically-based teaching, play time, entertainment and snacks.

PLAYDATES AND EVENTS
In addition to meetings, we also plan special events either with our kids and/or families or as moms-only nights. We also schedule playgroups which provide a wonderful setting to visit with moms while your children play together. Upcoming events are listed below.
Save the Date - MOPS at CUMC Fall Yard Sale
Please mark your calendars on Saturday, October 25th for our Fall Yard Sale. This is our biggest fundraiser and helps us cut costs on member fees -- and clean-out our closets and play rooms. The sale will be at Crossroads on Saturday, from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm.
